They don't suck.

Are you a Payless shoe shopper? I used to scoop up a pair or two during sales because they were often so pretty, but I can't stand synthetics and heels that wobble. But Payless's new beauty line that we covered in spring is getting closer to the October release... and the products look great!

The packaging's sleek, the colors are bright and bold, and everything looks more expensive than we thought. Looking good, Payless. First hurdle is cleared, and we're getting ready for the next in October.

In order for the Payless beauty collection to work, we want to see the following areas covered:

1. Scent: There's nothing worse than the cheap-candle scent of a vanilla body spray or a floral "body splash" that stinks like a room mister.

2. Coverage: I see that Payless will be doing nail polish, so I hope it doesn't require multiple coats for simple coverage. If I'm taking the time, then I'll wear something more expensive.

3. Packaging Quality: The packaging is cute, but it needs to be durable enough to stand the life of the product. It also needs to be planned intuitively.

4. Size vs. Value: There's no point in getting value-sized cosmetics if they suck, so we hope Payless agrees!

Would you buy a beauty product from Payless, or is it not your thing?
