People's Red Carpet - A Total Fashion Breakdown

People made some bad choices.

Is it just us, or were the fashions at this year's People's Choice Awards seriously disappointing?

Kate Hudson went back to her boho roots (although not in a good way), and Christina Applegate looked like she'd skipped out on her prom to attend the ceremony. Maybe she and Dakota Fanning should have traded dresses?

We almost liked Carrie Underwood's floral frock. Almost. Get rid of that sparkle and we'd be on board. And Debra Messing showed fashion bravery, but the dress just didn't work. The boxy shape was unflattering and the color was a bit blah.

People, get it together! We hope this isn't an indication of what to expect at this year's Golden Globes...
