Pete Wentz gives naked photo scandal advice

Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz has offered advice to celebrities, such as High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens and Twilight star Ashley Greene, on how to deal with leaked nude photo scandals. The 30-year-old singer, who is now married to singer Ashlee Simpson, was involved in his own scandal in 2006, when his mobile phone was hacked and naked photos of him were posted on the internet.

Talking about his own incident, Wentz said: "I handled it pretty terribly for the first 48 hours. I mean, I quit my band and everything. But then what I realised is that it's not the worst thing on the planet that's ever gonna happen. "[I] apologised to my mum, realised that the best way to not have pictures on the internet is to never take the pictures at all, and then made fun of it.” Wentz said the two actresses should expect the press to be bad for a while, but that they soon move on to other news. "The bigger deal you make of it, and the more you try to prove that it wasn't you or it was like this or that, the only people who are really going to know the story are like, you and two other people. "So, it's like, don't sit out there and make it a big deal. Let it go away."
