Pete Wentz on Jessica: "Real Beauty Is on the Inside, Man"

Finally, a voice we can believe in.

Stop the presses: Pete Wentz has made a statement about sis-in-law's weight (non-issue). Seriously, I've been waiting my whole life for this moment - the man speaks!

Pete was quoted by US as saying:

"I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general, and I think it's a bummer. It's bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows, and that's a bummer."

And then, to cap it off, every girl's worst nightmare of a quote: "Real beauty is on the inside, man."

I'm not really sure if we need anyone else to come out in "support" of Jess at this point. It's clear the only people who think Jessica is fat are mouth breathers on Internet message boards and the tabloids. But I do applaud Wentz's multiple usage of the word "bummer" in his statement.
