Prince William Cooks Breakfast for the Homeless
Prince William Lives Up to the Title
There's nothing nicer than reading about celebs who give back, whether that's d-listers on our side of the pond or distinguished royalty on the other! Prince William served up a holiday breakfast for homeless youth in the UK, and everyone commented about how "down to earth" he is. Arg, now it's even a closer contest between him and his brother Harry! I do love myself some red hair...
Prince William served food at Centrepoint, where he showed off the fact that he can cook up a breakie with the best of them. The prince can make eggs and sausages, as well as beans and tomatoes, and serve them up as a traditional English breakfast. While he warned that he's bad at making scrambled eggs (really?), he said that he and his hot brother Prince Harry used to have egg-cooking competitions when they lived together during RAF training.
Making the appearance to celebrate Centrepoint's 40th anniversary, Prince William told Hello! mag that he prefers these types of events to the tux-wearing benefits.
"I get a lot out of an event like this, spending quality time with Centrepoint people. For some people, Christmas is a very difficult time and Centrepoint offers sterling support. I am very proud to be here and to be Centrepoint's patron and inspired by some of the stories I've heard today."
By the way, William hasn't done any X-Mas shopping yet, either, so there's no need for guilt if you haven't gotten yours accomplished. It's like a royal pardon or something!
Don't you love it when people in the public eye give back?
