Sneak In Your Agua

Forget a little water going a long way--as good as Smartwater is for you, you will still need your 2 litres to flush out toxins, stay trim, and keep your skin in good shape. If you're not a fan of drinking plain ol' water, try these tips for easier hydration.

1. Know how you like your water. For example, I enjoy drinking it out of a bottle, very cold, but I wouldn't drink half as much if it were room temperature and in a glass.

2. Look for sparkling waters with natural fruit flavors, and add a twist of lemon for citrus appeal. Even ice cubes can make things much more appealing.

3. Did you know that fruit and veg can provide up to 20% of your daily water requirement if you eat five servings per day? Aim to nosh on melon, apples, oranges, and grapefruit to make it count.

4. Craving variety? Water down low-cal iced tea or fruit juice with water (sparkling or still) for flavor without all the calories.

5. Give "gimmicky" waters a chance. If your health is at stake, it's better to spend a couple extra dollars on water than to drink far less than you should.
