Queen Elizabeth's First Great-Grandchild Is Born
The First Royal Great-Grandchild
Peter Phillips and his wife, Autumn, welcomed a baby in the U.K. this past Wednesday. In many cases, I hope that the royals don't reproduce because they are so unfortunate-looking. Gasp! Are you shocked? I think we can agree that Kate Middleton is going to add some much-needed fresh blood to the royal mix in England. Autumn did the same.

Looking at pics of Autumn and Peter Phillips, however, I can say that these two are likely to have produced cute spawn.
The baby, whose name hasn't been released, weighed eight pounds, eight ounces, and was born at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. I'd like to imagine that there's some kind of squabble going on about the baby's name, like the one that is chosen was deemed inappropriate by royal handlers or something.
"Mr. Peter Phillips was present at the birth," Queen Elizabeth's press secretary told Us. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Autumn's family have been informed and are delighted with the news."

Peter Phillips is the son of Princess Anne, and he has been living and working in Hong Kong since he married Autumn in 2008. I was always impressed that he broke away from the motherland to do something more exciting.
Congrats to the couple for a healthy delivery!
