R. Kelly Lists Estate as a Short Sale
He Believes The Home Will Fly Off the Market
R&B singer R. Kelly has listed his Chicago-area estate as a $1.595 million short sale.
The Grammy winner, who was cited in a $2.9 million foreclosure suit on the property over the summer, had tried to get the bank to modify his $3.5 million loan -- to no avail -- so now he's selling at a big loss.
Kelly, who's from Chicago originally, bought the home 22,000 square-foot home in 1999. It's on a private lot that's encompassed by a 12-foot high concrete and wrought-iron wall (?) and comes with many "Cribs" worthy amenities including a jungle-themed indoor pool and a movie theater.
Back in August, the "Bump N' Grind" singer sold another Chi-town area property for $2.74 million.
