Renee Zellweger Snubbed by George Hamilton
Renee Zellweger has been snubbed by Hollywood legend George Hamilton who insists he would never have chosen her to play his real-life mother. Renee plays Hamilton's mother in the movie My One and Only, but Hamilton makes it clear he felt powerless to change the casting.
"The director was the one who wanted her," Hamilton said, dismissively. "I had thought of Annette Bening, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michelle Pfeiffer. They were all interested at different points, but the director wanted Renee. "And I believe the director should have what he wants."
