For those who can't eat a meal without their phone along for the ride, this is probably a tough sell.
But for those who enjoy a little break from technology, the discount may be incentive enough to "unplug" for just a bit.
Eva Restaurant chef and owner told Fox News, "We just want people to connect again. It's eliminating one more distraction from the dinner experience."
He adds, "We've only had a positive response," with the Associated Press reporting that nearly half of the patrons take advantage of the discount.
