We've had a couple of days now to get used to Rihanna's newest tattoos. She's got a brand-new tattoo scrolling around the side of her neck, and we can all see that it reads "rebelle fleur." I wonder what boyfriend Matt Kemp thinks about it?

From the look of it, Matt loved the thing--he was seen kissing Rihanna in New York City after she got inked with "rebelle fleur." In January, Rihanna said she had 13 tats, so that means she must have around 15 now!

What do you think of her recent addition? Neck tattoos are definitely a daring touch, so we snooped around our partner sites to see what they think!

PopEater: Totally neutral. They went the "strictly news" approach and dryly reported the addition, but they also spread word that Rihanna's tattoo probably wasn't correct in French.

"Rihanna was spotted leaving tattoo parlor Eastside Ink in New York, where she got some new ink on her neck."

Celebitchy: Thumbs down. They agree that the noun-adjective placement is screwy, which would make total sense in a romance language.

"Anyway, Rihanna doesn't speak French very well either. A few days ago she got a neck tattoo (oh brother), and PopEater claims it's not correct. She had 'rebelle fleur' inked onto her neck on cursive, and apparently French-speakers say it should be 'fleur rebelle.'"

"'Rebelle Fleur' means rebellious flower and, honestly, seems like the kind of mysterious, slightly poetic, cryptic thing Rihanna would get tattooed on her neck. We just asked our editor about the "Rebelle Fleur is grammatically incorrect thing": she hails from Montreal and agrees!

"I haven't heard that expression in French. But yes, you are right - whatever she is trying to say, it would be Fleur Rebelle," she told us. "For example, the term cheuveux rebelles refers to fly-away hair. We put the nouns first."

And there you have it. Beware of foreign-language tattoos, kids.
