Robert Pattinson Could Star as Prince Harry
The vampire prince?
There's a chance Robert Pattinson could be starring in The Spare, an upcoming biopic about the life of Prince Harry. Can you see Robert Pattinson as Prince Harry? Personally, we aren't quite sure this role would suit him.
What do you think? It's not that we have anything against Prince Harry. We just never saw him as a hunky Robert Pattinson type. But it sounds like the director of the movie, Peter Kosminsky, is seriously considering Twilight's Robert Pattinson as the star of the new movie.
On the other hand, Kosminsky is also considering Rupert Grint and Rupert Friend, all three very different actors. If you know Rupert Grint, you know he plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies and looks absolutely nothing like Robert Pattinson. Pride and Prejudice's Rupert Friend looks a bit more like Robert Pattinson, and is still no Prince Harry. We think Grint is the best choice for the role, but don't think he works quite perfectly.
According to Kosminsky, he's making the movie because, "I feel a sense of compassion for the guy... His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over." We think it will be an awesome movie, and while we love seeing Robert Pattinson on the big screen, we just don't think this role is for him.
Of course he recently said he will only take roles that best utilize his talent. Do you think he would even take this role if it was offered to him?
