Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart In L.A. For Rob's Birthday

Pattinson and Stewart remain on the same continent!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were nine time zones away from one another while Pattinson filmed Bel Ami in Budapest. It's not confirmed whether shooting for the film has officially wrapped, but Rob had to fly: not only did he have a May 13 birthday date with Oprah Winfrey; he'll also celebrate with his love.

It appears that Robert Pattinson's scenes for Bel Ami have all been shot, as Pattinson and company gear up for publicity surrounding The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's June 30 worldwide release. Late last week Rob touched down in Chicago to film The Oprah Winfrey Show, and now that Pattinson, Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning have made their Oprah visit, Pattinson and Stewart are said to be spending some downtime in sunny L.A.

We'd heard reports that Kristen Stewart was house-hunting in Beverly Hills for a pad that she and Rob plan to share. It's very likely that they'll go low-key for Pattinson's birthday on Thursday, as both of them say they despise being spotted in public -- especially together. Plus, Kristen's only 20 -- it's not really as though she can get into any bars or clubs without a scene, especially considering her high profile.

And based on reports, it looks like she and Pattinson will remain housed in L.A. for the next few weeks. Stewart is reportedly working on a secret film (we think it's the one that her mom is directing), while Pattinson begins taping Water for Elephants. It's rumored Breaking Dawn filming will kick off in September.
