Robert Pattinson May Sing on Eclipse Soundtrack!

When we announced the track listing for the upcoming New Moon soundtrack, there was only one thing missing. There were no tracks from Robert Pattinson. But it sounds like there might be a chance he'll be on the soundtrack for the third movie, Eclipse. We're obviously crossing our fingers!

Now that we know what an amazing singer Robert Pattinson is, we're craving more from him. And while we were hoping to get some more of him on the New Moon soundtrack, we were let down. Don't get us wrong, we're super excited to hear from Death Cab for Cutie, Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, and more. But a track from R. Patz would have been nice.

And though we might have to wait a little bit for it, we may just get a taste of Robert Pattinson on the soundtrack for Eclipse. Robert Pattinson has said that he definitely wants to write some songs for Eclipse if his schedule allows it! He said, "I don't know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it. Music is the other side of me, it's one of the things that complete me and I wouldn't want to leave it aside for anything in the world."

Of course, we'd love to hear some more singing from him! And we're thinking he might eventually come out with an album of some sort. According to Robert, "I have the intention of evolving in that aspect. It's something I want to develop just as much as acting. I want to have a balance between those two things." Do you think he'd ever play a role in a movie musical?

We will be keeping our ears out for more music from Robert Pattinson. And once we hear it, we'll probably be falling asleep to it every night! The New Moon soundtrack isn't out for a couple more weeks, which means Eclipse is a long way off. Hopefully we'll get something from him before then!
