This weekend may be Mothers' Day in the U.S. -- but are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart about to become parents? Apparently Pattinson made a "Kristen's pregnant" joke on the episode of Oprah that some Eclipse cast members just taped for May 13...and fans don't know what to believe.

Was Oprah prepared for this madness? We reported that Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner had been spotted last weekend in the Los Angeles International Airport after filming re-shoots for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Meanwhile Kristen Stewart attended the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City Monday. Based on the latest report, it sounds like all three of them met in the middle to appear in Oprah's Chicago studio for the May 13 kick-off to the publicity tour for Eclipse, which hits theaters on June 30. (Yes, May 13 is Rob's birthday!)

Robert Pattinson's announcement that Kristen Stewart is pregnant is said to have been a swift deflection of Oprah Winfrey's question on the romantic status between Pattinson and Stewart. It's reported that Kristen Stewart jumped in on the question, claiming that it was actually Rob who was carrying the baby.

Why are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart backpedaling on admitting their romance? At the end of February Rob confessed to a reporter that yes, he and Kristen were "together," and in late March he revealed how he pursued her. It could be that Twilight publicists are telling the Twilight Two to cool off the PDA and declarations of love because it's all scaring off Rob's female fans...we know another Twilight-related celeb who's had to deal with the same thing.
