Robert Pattinson Responsible For Paris Hilton's Disappearing Act?

Have you noticed that Paris Hilton just hasn't been around as much lately? I first thought about her absence when I heard about Nicole Richie's new television venture. She's had so many huge successes lately, and we've barely seen her former bff, Paris Hilton, out in public. Could it be Robert Pattinson's fault?

The paparazzi used to go absolutely crazy over Paris Hilton. We saw photos of her everywhere, in every outfit, in ever pose. But lately, she just hasn't been catching the camera's eye as much. What gives? It could be because we're all too obsessed with Twilight stars like Robert Pattinson and just don't care about Paris Hilton anymore.

According to magazine editor Suzanne Yanks, Paris Hilton "built the ultimate how-to guide on building a celebrity brand. Now she is in the second phase of the program, the disappearing act... Phase one was the ascension, seemingly out of nowhere. That came with a media frenzy, the antics, the partying, the music, the babe-like status and of course, the fashion label. Phase two, she disappears."

It's true! Paris seemed to literally come out of nowhere. One day she was super famous and in every paparazzi shot. And then she suddenly, stopped being photographed. Do you think it could have something to do with the fame of Twilight stars like Robert Pattinson?

Star editor Suzanne Rozeba does. She says, "Paris just doesn't nearly have the mass appeal she had a few years ago. She shows up at events, but people are much more concerned with whether Robert Pattinson's going to show up with his secret girlfriend Kristen Stewart. She's not working on a scandalous reality show, or groundbreaking project, or starring in a horror movie, or dating hunky Taylor Lautner, so people are honestly just tired of hearing about her partying."

I think that makes total sense. Paris isn't doing anything exciting or even interesting, so why should we care about her? In a world filled with reality TV stars, we really don't need another nobody parading around and being famous for being famous. At least get yourself some sort of reality show, Paris!

But really, I just like the idea that Robert Pattinson is to blame for Paris Hilton's disappearance. Good job, Robert, good job.
