Rob separates from Kristen Stewart; attends Bobby Long concert with mates.

We're excited for this story not only because it involves our mutual friend with Robert Pattinson, Bobby Long, but because it puts some breathing room between Rob and Kristen Stewart...which we all need.

Robert Pattinson went out with his former schoolmates Tom Sturridge and Marcus Foster to see Bobby Long's show at a pub in London Wednesday night. Kristen Stewart was nowhere in sight as she and Rob were said to have shared a wistful goodbye in New York earlier this week.

It's said Pattinson enjoyed a peaceful night off out at the pub, with his friends trying to cover him as only a few fans pestered him. It's said he did not indulge fans' requests for photos. Rob went for a cigarette break outside at one point and is said to have worn fitted jeans and a cool leather jacket.
