Robert Pattinson Stays 'Zen' About Being Famous

It's about time

It doesn't look like Robert Pattinson's popularity is going anywhere fast, so it's a good thing he's finally learning to accept his fame. If anything, the Twilight celebrity will likely be getting even bigger!

Robert Pattinson commented earlier this month that all of his fame was making him really paranoid. But now it looks like he's finally getting used to it. He commented, "I was getting really paranoid. But then I realized that if tomorrow I say, 'OK, I've had enough we're stopping everything,' it won't change anything... Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It's not always easy. But whining won't change anything."

We're glad he's realizing his fame isn't going anywhere and that accepting it is the best option. But we've been seeing so little of him lately, we're wondering if his version of acceptance means keeping low and staying away from people.

He says that last year, he wasn't even able to get a date, though we do find this hard to believe. He says, "and now women have changed their minds about me... It's kind of weird to get all this attention. Teenage girls are always screaming and screaming- it's so surreal." But he still seems a bit confused about this fame saying, "It's only with the 10-14-year-olds though and that's not the best thing in the world!" No, Robert, we're pretty sure you've got all age groups covered!

Pattinson also mentions the first time he realized how famous he really was. He says, "I was in a restaurant during a break, and when I came out two hours later, 500 people were waiting for me at the exit... It was total chaos. But I'm sure that if I'd said to one of those girls, 'Come on, let's go have breakfast,' she would have been totally embarrassed and would never scream my name again." Um, really? Why don't you try that sometime, Robert, and see if she runs hiding from you. We have a feeling she'll jump into your arms as fast as she can!

So yes, it looks like Robert Pattinson is still a bit confused about his fame.
