Robert Pattinson Wants Gus Van Sant for Breaking Dawn

Yet another Breaking Dawn director suggestion

It seems like every Twilight star has their own ideas about who they want directing the fourth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn (we're still waiting on the official announcement that this will actually be a movie, though Robert Pattinson kind of confirmed it). And now Robert Pattinson is throwing in his two cents about who he wants to direct the movie.

Robert is all about having Gus Van Sant direct Breaking Dawn. You might know Gus from Good Will Hunting and Milk, two absolutely amazing movies. But do you agree with Robert Pattinson that he'd be a good fit for the fourth Twilight movie?

The other day, Robert commented, "I probably shouldn't say this... But I've heard that we're going to shoot it in Portland." This is pretty big news to us, considering we didn't know any details of Breaking Dawn were being talked about with the cast. But Portland is where Gus Van Sant lives, and according to Robert, "He shoots everything in Portland... He's good at making it look beautiful."

It's being said that Breaking Dawn will be the strangest of the Twilight movies, but that it's also the movie fans are most eager to see in the saga. Robert says, "It's all about teenage love and obsessions... I think Gus Van Sant would be great."

We have a feeling Summit may decide to use a director they've already used and there's been talk of New Moon director Chris Weitz coming back for Breaking Dawn.
