Robert Pattinson is Busy Beyond Twilight!
A world beyond vampires
It may seem like Twilight is Robert Pattinson's everything these days. After all, it definitely launched him into fame and has been keeping him pretty busy. But it looks like Robert has a whole lot more on his plate than simply Twilight.
We guess it's to be expected. Robert Pattinson has become so famous for his role in Twilight, that he's in demand for many other movie roles! That means he's probably not going away anytime soon (and we can live with that); we just hope he can take his acting skills beyond playing a hot vampire!
Judging from his schedule, Robert Pattinson will be busy filming movies until at least 2011. After he's done filming Eclipse, Robert is headed to Paris for three months where he'll be filming Bel Ami. Then he'll be back to shoot the fourth Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn.
But Robert's Twilight fame scares him just a little, especially in relation to how it dictates the other roles he gets. He says, "It scares me a little... When I go to meetings for other projects, the people I meet with only seem interested in the convergence of Edward Cullen and I." Of course, it's a good thing that Twilight has made Robert Pattinson so famous, but we understand why he's a little worried. He's more than just a pretty vampire!
But he feels like movie producers are selecting him solely for his Twilight fame. He says, "It's like, ‘If the role interests you and you can bring the public from Twilight, you've got it.' They'd let me play a woman I think." Now that is something we'd like to see! And we're pretty sure it would bring the fans to the theater!
