Russell Crowe To Star in New Thriller
Russell Crowe is lining up to star in The Next Three Days, directed by Paul Haggis, the maker of Crash in 2004. The Lionsgate film is a remake of a French thriller Pour Elle.
It tells the story of a woman who has been wrongfully sent to prison for 20 years and whose husband - a high school teacher who has exhausted his legal avenues - must find a way to get her out. Crowe, who has been shooting Robin Hood in the UK, is in final negotiations for the thriller. Filming is scheduled to begin as soon as September.
