Sacha Baron Cohen Delivers Rescued Dog Personally
Borat to the rescue!
Imagine losing your dog and then having someone call you to tell you they've found it? And when you go to pick it up, who's standing there but Borat? OK, well Sacha Baron Cohen, really. That's what happened to one couple!
According to E! Online, A 21-year-old woman named Jennifer Tapiero lost her little maltese-chihuahua, Blaze, when construction workers left open the door to her house. She must have been heartbroken! But luckily, her uncle's phone number was on the dog's tag and someone called him soon after the dog went missing.
The uncle said the caller sounded Britsh and they made plans to meet up so the uncle could get the dog. The caller said, "I'm very tall and my fiancee is really tiny. You can't miss us." So, Tapiero and her uncle went to retrieve the dog and who should they meet up with but Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher!
This makes us love Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher just a little bit more. They could have easily brought the dog to a shelter or had someone else return it, but they wanted to make sure it got home safely themselves, even though they probably knew they would be recognized.
We think it would have been even more awesome if Sacha Baron Cohen put on his Borat persona before meeting Tapiero and her uncle!
