Saint Patty's Day Is Here!

Saint Patrick's Day means green beer, green sparkly headbands, and green eyeshadow, and we love an excuse to dress up for a party. If you are heading off to a Saint Patrick's Day bash tonight and you're not sure how to get festive, why not employ a few beauty gimmicks?

Stumped on some ways to honor today's holiday? Try some of these beauty tips out after work before the celebration!

*Festive Nail Polish: Paint your nails with green glitter, bright green with gloss, or something even fancier (shamrock nail art, anyone?). You can also try a gemmed-up version using stick-on green rhinestones and a clear top coat.

*Fun Eyeshadow: Make like a runway model and rock bright green eyeshadow on your top lids, topped off with lots of green mascara. To make your eyes pop even more, why not use green eyelashes, which you can pick up at Hot Topic?

*Temporary Tats: I'm tempted to add a festive mini-tattoo near my eye (shamrock tear), but I'll definitely paint on an anklet, Chanel faux tattoo style, to go with my ensemble tonight. If you've got face paint left over from Halloween, why not add a lucky charm to your look before tossing it?

*Hair Accessories: If you prefer your makeup to be classic, tie your hair up with a green ribbon or green pom poms. An oversized green bow if easy enough to pull off, and all you need is a length of ribbon.

Staying at home? Honor the Irish by using a flat beer rinse to add body to your hair... just be sure that you rinse thoroughly! Tip your imaginary top hat to the Irish by having great hair... and you'll get extra points for using a rich stout.
