Samantha Ronson Tweets Over Her Dog's Fatal Attack
Ronson's bulldog had undergone training bootcamp.
Monday a report broke that a bulldog belonging to DJ/Lindsay Lohan ex Samantha Ronson had fatally attacked a three-pound Maltese that belonged to a neighbor. Ronson has confirmed the report via Twitter and revealed her reaction to the attack.
TMZ reported that around 11:10 a.m. Monday, a person inside Samantha Ronson's apartment building had called police to report that a small dog had been attacked in the hallway of the building. By the time authorities arrived, the small dog, a Maltese showdog named Tiger, was dead. Its owner had sustained minor injuries.
Animal control left the building without taking Ronson's bulldog (named Cadillac), and reports suggest that Ronson was sleeping when a group of friends who were sleeping over let Cadillac into the hallway. None of Ronson's friends is admitting to having let out Cadillac.
Samantha Ronson has responded around 6 p.m. Monday via Twitter to her 1.5 million followers:
"There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing. I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am."
Within that hour one of Ronson's followers replied, "My heart hurts."
Ronson answered, "Mine too."
Yet another Ronson follower tweeted to her, "my Malt[ese] was mauled by my neighbor's Chow 2 yrs ago. They're so tiny, it happens. Broke everyones heart. xoxo" [sic]
Samantha Ronson replied again: "i'm so sorry, that's awful." [sic]
Cadillac had just returned from a socialization bootcamp after attacking another neighbor's dog. Monday night Ronson sent the bulldog off to the East Coast for family members to look after..
