Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall: Aging Diva Catfights

SJP and Kim Cattrall Battle It Out

I've always had trouble believing rumors of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall fighting with each other, but it turns out that their issues are a lot more complex than jealousy and irritation. SATC 2 sources have been talking, and--trust me-- we're listening!

In her Elle mag cover story, Sarah Jessica defended her amicable relationship with Kim Cattrall, saying "I don't think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn't have done the movie without her. Didn't and wouldn't."

That's all well and good, except for the pesky fact that some interested (nosy?) individuals feel obligated to report on how the two are aging, which apparently has upped the tension on the set.

The tabs report: "Setsiders say the candid photos from the set prove there is a real age war erupting: SJP looks much older than her younger character, Carrie, and older than Samantha, so this attempt of not letting Samantha shine is proving the rumors have life."

Kim reportedly has no interest in looking like Sarah Jessica Parker's younger counterpart, and In Touch Weekly also said that "Samantha's been known for her body, not her face, and she's not afraid to show it!"

Sure, Kim Cattrall is looking awesome, but keep in mind that lovely SJP is juggling a household of kids--and she was an ugly duckling when she was very young, as much as I hate to say it! I feel like this drama is cooked up more by the people on set than Kim and SJP. What about you?
