We have just learned that Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., are expecting their first child.

The couple has been married for six years and the baby is due in the Fall. A People Magazine source close to the couple says that, "They're very excited."

What has the couple been up to recently? Sarah Michelle Gellar will work as an executive producer for the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays and Freddie just wrapped shooting a comedy pilot, No Heroics, for ABC.
