Sarah Palin On GMA: 'I'm Fine With Who I Am'
Sarah Palin goes rogue with Barbara Walters.
Sarah Palin's autobiography Going Rogue: An American Life hit shelves Tuesday, and weeks before its physical release, it was already a bestseller. The world is interested in hearing what Palin has to say about the McCain campaign, cut-throat media criticism and what happens behind closed doors at the Palin home. Palin sat down with Barbara Walters in an interview that aired Tuesday, and LimeLife scored you some footage.
Barbara Walters asks Palin to answer some of the fierce slams the McCain campaign has thrown at her. Palin shrugs, saying she guesses she "really really disappointed" some of them but that she's fine with who she is and where she is today (we imagine, with a multi-million dollar book deal).
Will Palin have her own talk show or reality show? She says she's received "lots and lots of offers," but "absolutely not," she insists ."Shoot, our life has become kind of a reality show," Palin laughs.
And as far as the press' criticism, Palin says at times, such as in her perhaps-fatal interview with Katie Couric, Palin has worn "my annoyance on my sleeve, and I shouldn't have done that." She described Tina Fey's portrayal of her as "talented" but thinks the public actually did believe that Palin had said some of the uneducated things Tina Fey portrayed her as saying. And her high-profile nemesis David Letterman? Palin says she wouldn't want to go on his show to help his ratings but that she hopes he keeps talking about her because "I do want him to sell my book."
