Scarlett Johansson Top Pick to Play Marilyn Monroe

Scarlett Johansson is at the top of the list of actresses wanted to play the famous blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming movie, My Week With Marilyn. Who do you think would be best in the role?

Director Simon Curtis and producer David Parfitt definitely want Scarlett to play the role of Marilyn Monroe. But they have a few other actresses in mind in case that doesn't work out. Also at the top of their list include Kate Hudson, Amy Adams, and Michelle Williams.

The movie will be based on the diaries of Colin Clark who was an employee of Laurence Oliver, the man who looked after Marilyn when she filmed The Prince and the Showgirl.

In other Marilyn Monroe-related news, Lindsay Lohan desperately wants to play the blonde in the Some Like It Hot remake. She has a quote from the original movie tatooed on her wrist. We hear she was turned down by the movie's director, but that she isn't giving up. And we wonder if her want of this role had something to do with her dyeing her hair blonde.
