Scrubs is Coming Back!

Zach Braff isn't quite done playing J.D. on Scrubs.

It's not over yet.

If you're a lover of Scrubs, you're in luck because it's coming back for a ninth season. Even better? Zach Braff will be along for at least part of the ride.

A few months ago, Zach Braff announced his decision to leave Scrubs. Well, he lied. Or maybe he just changed his mind, but whatever the case, Braff signed on for at least six new episodes of the ninth season before he moves on to pursue his career in directing.

Sarah Chalke also signed on for more, though it was rumored that her Lifetime miniseries, Maneater, was going to turn into a full-time series, which would cause her to leave the show.

Many were worried that Scrubs was going to be axed all together without its biggest stars, but the ninth season is on! Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, and Neil Flynn have all signed full contracts.

It is not certain whether or not Judy Reyes will return for the new season. But at least Scrubs has a little more life left in it!
