Sean Penn Says His Critics Should Die of 'Rectal Cancer'
Such an angry guy.
Sean Penn will go out of his way to help earthquake victims in Haiti, but when it come to his critics, he's not so compassionate. In an interview that will air Sunday on CBS, Penn says he hopes they all die of rectal cancer.
Penn sat down with CBS journalist Lara Logan to discuss his relief efforts in Haiti, as well as charges from his critics that it is all just a ploy to distract the media from his recent divorce from actress Robin Wright Penn.
His response? Typical Spicoli.
"Do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah," he told Logan. "But I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it."
Sean Penn has made two trips to Haiti, including one in January where he helped rescue workers purchase life-saving equipment like ventilators and x-ray machines.
But what he really seems to be touchy about is his recent separation from longtime wife Robin Wright Penn. After 14 years of marriage, the couple split for good in August.
Penn's interview will air this weekend on CBS' "Sunday Morning."
