Shayne Lamas Almost Got Heidi Montag Makeover From Dr. Ryan

Shayne Lamas almost suffered a fate similar to that of Heidi Montag. Yes, plastic surgery at the hands of the late Dr. Frank Ryan. We're glad she didn't end up getting 10 plastic surgeries of her own. But we're sort of questioning just why reality star Shayne is coming forward with this information now that Dr. Ryan has passed away.

Shayne Lamas went to Dr. Frank Ryan for one thing. And almost left with a whole lot more. And she's telling In Touch Weekly her story. We're wondering why she's talking now. Now that Dr. Ryan has passed away and there's nothing anyone can do. Is she just looking for some fame?

She claims, "Dr. Ryan was a family friend... I went to see him because I wanted a boob job, but he ended up telling me that I needed about $70,000 worth of work - thigh lipo, a butt lift, basically a whole body makeover - to turn me into the perfect Barbie doll. But I didn't want to be a Barbie doll."

Shayne actualy went to far as to sign up for the plastic surgery procedures. But once she saw Heidi Montag on the cover of People magazine, she canceled her appointment. Eeek. You know it's bad advertising for your plastic surgery clinic when someone sees one of your patients and changes their mind!

And suddenly, Shayne had a very bad impression of Dr. Ryan. She says, "It was absurd and I felt sick. She's my age, and it was the same breakdown of what he wanted me to do... I was disturbed by it. I think it was very irresponsible of him to do that. I'm reluctant to say that now that he's resting in peace, but that's how I feel."

Considering news about Heidi's plastic surgeries broke months ago, it's interesting Shayne waited until Dr. Frank Ryan's death to bash him. It makes us wonder how true Shayne's story really is. If you can't say something about someone when they're alive, you probably shouldn't say it when they pass away!
