Simon Cowell Admits He's Dating Carmen Electra

X Factor Mastermind Cowell Has Confirmed That He's Dating Carmen Electra

Ryan Seacreast was able to get his former American Idol boss to admit that he's been dating perennial sex symbol Carmen Electra on his nationally syndicated radio show this morning.

53 year-old Cowell admission that he's been hanging out with the former Baywatch babe/Pussycat Doll helps seal the deal that we reported back in September and that Electra had set in motion last month while talking to "Access Hollywood" about her recent stint as a judge on "Britain's Got Talent."

"He's so cute. He is adorable. He's actually a sweetheart … I really liked him. I think he's really cool," Electra, 40, said. "Now, obviously, he's in [Los Angeles] with "X Factor" and we started to hang out and we became friends … I think he's a great guy."

Cowell says that he and Electra are "people who date." Given their past track records in the romance arena (she's divorced from both Jane's Addiction frontman Dave Navarro and former NBA star Dennis Rodman, he was engaged to "American Idol" makeup artist Mezghan Hussainy in 2010 but separated earlier this year) the roads ahead may be rocky but, who knows, maybe they're perfectly suited for one another.
