Slumdog Gets Our Globes - Golden Globes
Got Milk? Guess not.
Yesterday, we named the nominees we'd like to see take home Golden Globe awards for television. Today, we're playing Hollywood Foreign Press member once more and selecting our favorites from the film nominees.
But before we start the titillating role-play, we have one thing to say to you, Hollywood: make a musical.
It's become clear to us that if you make any sort of movie with singing and dancing in it, you will automatically receive a Golden Globe nomination for BEST MOTION PICTURE – COMEDY OR MUSICAL no matter how horrendous that singing and dancing might be. Case in point: Mamma Mia! A drag queen inspiring, song fest, and all around campy mess, to be sure, but a GG nominee? We think we hear Pierce Brosnan cackling off-tempo somewhere in the distance.
At any rate, on with the selections!
