Sneak Peak of New Dr. Dre Album in Dr. Pepper Commerical

After ten years, Dr. Dre is releasing a new album. But first he's hanging out with another doctor: Dr. Pepper.

He's been slow. Dr. Dre says he's been working on his new album, Detox, since 2004. We probably would have all but forgotten him if it wasn't for Eminem still bumming around. So, he's been slow, but Dr. Dre seems to believe that slow and steady wins the race.

And he tells us this in the new Dr. Pepper commercial. Random? Probably. But Dr. Pepper's newest ad campaign is called "Trust Me, I'm a Doctor" and is going to be starring doctors from Dre to Dr. Fraiser Crane to Dr. J. Clever, right?

In Dr. Dre's Dr. Pepper commercial, a clip from a Detox song is played. However, it's really not enough for you to get a good feel for what the album's going to be like. But we do here it's going to contain appearances from Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil' Wayne, 50 Cent, and Nas. And if Dr. Dre is still as good as he used to be, the album will do extremely well.

We have a feeling he's doing these Dr. Pepper commercials to try and get his name back in circulation and to start getting people excited about his upcoming album. We wonder if Dr. Pepper will help or hurt this doctor.
