Sonique facing chemotherapy after two cancer operations

Sonique's spokesperson has revealed the singer now faces chemotherapy after two operations to remove cancer from one of her breasts. The 41-year-old star from north London was recently diagnosed with the illness and was operated on straight away.

Test results later revealed that the cancer was still there and she had to undergo another operaton. Sonique, who is best known for her single It Feels So Good, will now face eight months of chemotherapy. It is claimed that her upcoming tour dates have been postponed. The singer and DJ's agent, Cath MacKenzie, had previously said she was "very distressed" to find out she had to have another operation but was "trying to remain positive".
