'Sopranos' Movie Could Happen
Fans of The Sopranos will have to be patient if they want to see the mob show get the Hollywood treatment. Stars of the hit gangster TV show have hinted that Sopranos producer David Chase is working on a hotly anticipated movie script.
But it has been rumoured that any big-screen version of the Sopranos could be delayed by James Gandolfini, who is reportedly not keen to reprise his role as mob boss Tony Soprano. However, Lorraine Bracco, who starred as Dr Jennifer Melfi in the show, revealed that Gandolfini is not the real cause of the hold-up. "I don't think it's that at all. I think it's really trying to get the right script. Without the right script, it's really not worth doing," she said. "We've all talked to David to give him a kick in the booty to get it right. "I want us to be like the Sex And The City or The Bourne Identity. I want to make a million of them."
