Star Jones Returning to 'The View'

She's been gone from the show since June of 2006 (wow, time really flies) but now, Star Jones is heading back to The View.

When she left the chat show on June 26, 2006 saying that "after much prayer and counsel" she'd not be back, Star Jones was lying. What she revealed later (as she told PEOPLE magazine) was that, "My contract was not renewed for the 10th season ... I feel like I was fired."  The next day it was announced that Rosie O'Donnell would fill her vacant seat at the table.

Ouch.

Nevertheless, on February 22, Jones will bury the hatchet (figuratively speaking unless she gets really mad at Barbara Walters again) and return to the set.

Why? Well, for February sweeps of course. But, what we're being told is that it's because she and  Walters have both had open heart surgery and are going to talk up the importance of heart health.

Hmm. I'm all for heart health and everything but considering the fact that there's no loveloss between the two, I'm sort of hoping things get at least a little ugly.
