Steve Carell: 'The Office' Will Be Fine Without Me
Will it really?
We recently got word that Steve Carell will only be starring in one more season of The Office. We immediately assumed the show would be over without him. But it doesn't sound like that's the case. He says the show will continue on and they'll be just fine without him. We're not sure we believe it.

Really, what is the point of The Office without Michael Scott? Sure, there are plenty of other funny characters, but much of the drama/humor in the show centers around the crazy antics of boss Michael Scott. And it just doesn't seem right to continue the show without him.
But Steve Carell is insisting the show will go on wonderfully without him. He tells Parade magazine, "The show's going to be great. The show has been very consistent and I'm just one part of this ensemble. The show is so strong and has such good writers, it will continue to be great. So the show's not going anywhere. I certainly won't be contemplating Michael Scott in 10 to 15 years. I hope he ends up happy. I hope that he finds whatever he's looking for. We'll see, you never know."
Do you agree? Well, we guess if Michael Scott really is leaving The Office, they better give him one heck of an ending. We think Michael deserves total happiness. And for him, that comes in the form of a wife and lots of little kids. Will Michael be able to get all that before his time on the series is over?

Of course, we do love John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms, etc. and agree they're funny enough to handle things on their own. But it's just going to be so different without Steve Carell. How long do you think the show will last without him? Leave us a comment below.
