Storage Wars Host Mark Balelo Dead in Apparent Suicide
Storage Wars Host Took His Own Life
Mark Balelo, a.k.a. "Rico Suave," the host of A&E's show "Storage Wars," has apparently taken his own life.
The 40 year-old host, an auction house owner with a keen eye for separating treasure from trash, was found unresponsive in his car on Monday. Authorities say that the car was left on in the garage of his auction house home and that Balelo died from carbon monoxide asphyxiation.
This act follows an arrest last Saturday which found Balelo "under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine," this according to Sgt. Craig Dungan of the Simi Valley Police Department.
Balelo had a big fan in actor Nicolas Cage who was reunited with a $ million Super Man comic book that had been stolen from his home, which the host found at auction and returned to the action hero star.
