The new Miss California steps up

By now, we all know that Miss California, Carrie Prejean, was finally fired by Donald Trump. But do you know who the new Miss California is? Meet Tami Farrell, the 24-year-old runner-up.

Carrie Prejean was finally fired by Donald Trump. Not because of her belief system, but because she has been failing to participate in her Miss California duties. So, Donald said, "you're fired!" and asked the new Miss California to step up. Who is she? Her name is Tami Farrell and she finished runner-up to Carrie Prejean in the Miss California pageant.

Tami was born in southern Oregon and was crowned Miss Teen USA in 2003 and during her reign she raised more than $21 million for her charities, which is more than any Teen USA winner has raised. Tami is an experienced model and has done work for Jovani, Tadashi, and Everything But Water.

She's also a Christian and recently finished recording her first demo CD, while on a Christian cruise to the Bahamas. Tami is also pursuing a career as an actress and writer. And now, as Miss California!

We hope Tami Farrell does her job better than Carrie Prejean!
