We Need a Taylor-Taylor Connection

Taylor Swift said that she loves being single and free, and we (mostly) believe her! When you are spending time hanging about Taylor Lautner and you're dating, you probably wouldn't lie like this. It sounds like she's taking it slow with her New Moon hunk.

If Taylor's 3-D cover for InStyle doesn't grab your attention, then the interview will. Taylor bashed rumors about the two, while explaining how she likes her single status.

"[Taylor Lautner] and I have gotten really close," she said. "It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, 'Taylor, on your mark - no, not you, the other one!' So halfway through the shoot, I said, 'How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?'"

"I've never thought it was a curse to be single, and at this point in my life, I'm in the mind-set where I choose to be single -] like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn't have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!"

The only thing I'm keeping in mind? That Taylor probably did this interview a little while back. Maybe she's fallen for Taylor Lautner since this interview was completed? Hey, I'm a romantic at heart... and Mr. Lautner sounds like he's really into Miss Swift as well.
