A completely different Bella Swan

Doesn't it seem like we've been hearing about this movie forever? Now that the New Moon excitement has died down a bit, we're missing seeing Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning everywhere and can't wait to see them in The Runaways. And now we finally have a teaser of the trailer!

The Runaways is, of course, the upcoming Joan Jett biopic starring Kristen Stewart as the famous 70s singer. And this teaser trailer gives us our first look at Kristen actually singing the hit song "Cherry Bomb." And it's pretty awesome!

Clearly we have an extremely different Kristen Stewart here than the Bella Swan she plays in the Twilight movies. This Kristen is wild and punk-ish and doesn't seem one bit clumsy. And she can sing! I definitely think this role is good for Kristen to show her range as an actress since a lot of people are likely only associating her with Twilight.

The clip also features Dakota Fanning, who plays band member Cherie Churrie. I already couldn't believe how grown up she looked as Jane in New Moon, but she looks even older in The Runaways!

Does this trailer teaser make you want to check out The Runaways when it comes to theaters? It's coming to Sundance next month and hopefully we can catch it soon after that!
