All that gym time could pay off

Most of the stars we see competing on Dancing with the Stars aren't exactly relevant anymore. But generally, our favorite ones are. The Situation is in the midst of his success and already has plans to dance on the next season of the show. We have a feeling that ratings for DWTS are about to go way up. And so is The Situation's paycheck.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has certainly had plenty of time practicing his dance moves in the Jersey Shore clubs. But is it enough to keep him in the competition on Dancing with the Stars? We're sure producers are hoping so, because he's going to do amazing things for the show's ratings. What will he be wearing? How much will he be hitting on his professional dance partner? How tan will he be? There's so much we want to know!

And how will the DWTS professional cast feel about this guido's appearance on the show? When OK magazine asked dancer Derek Hough how he would feel about The Situation joining the show, he replied, "It's people like that who come on the show who people will tune in and watch because either it will be a travesty or it will be interesting to see somebody turn something completely around so I'm up for anybody... For me it's classic entertainment, it's fun. Whatever gets people talking and tuning in is interesting to watch."

And The Situation has already proven he can get people watching. Of course, we can't help but wonder how jealous the rest of the Jersey Shore cast is that The Situation will now have a second show under his belt. One that will likely pay him quite a bit. He's already set to earn about $5 million this year!

We can't wait to see the full list of competitors on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. We do know that The Hills' Audrina Patridge is set to appear, which has us thinking a much younger audience will be tuning into the show. A fabulous thing for them!
