The patchwork-look fur backpack is beyond fug, but the retail price is even more offensive.

Who spends $16,900 on a backpack?

If fur isn't your style, then perhaps you'd prefer the black shiny calf skin, slate shiny alligator or black alligator styling instead?

Celeb stylist Rachel Zoe is a fan of the furry backpack, writing in her June 26 newsletter: "Pretty in patchwork, The Row's posh pack combines comfort and class. The fuzzy texture on this nifty knapsack is also a fashion favorite. Perfect for pre-fall, it's never too soon to start thinking ahead for your next season's staple!"

Is she serious?

We're waiting for PETA to weigh in on this one, because you know they'll have something to say about the Olsen twin's use of fur on their knapsack.
