Wow. Just wow.

London-based artist, David Mach enjoys matchsticks. A lot. How much? Well, that creature you see in the image is comprised of tens of thousands of the wooden sticks.

Each of these unique creations is made from as many as 14 different colored matchstick tips. The 52-year-old artist spends up to three months making gorillas, polar bears and rhinos, which he sells for 20,000 pounds or more.

My personal favorite is the multicolored polar bear, who seems to be leaping off the wall, moments away from tearing your face off. But then, you know, doesn't because the two of you are great chums and are going to go have a pint together.

Check out more of these cool sculptures in our slideshow!

The gorilla can definitely take the polar bear. I'm willing to bet on it.

That gorilla is my second fave.
