Tiered Skirts Make Their Comeback

If there's one thing you need to get ready for when it comes to spring fashion, it's tiered skirts. But why bother waiting? You can easily pair a tiered skirt with a pair of tights to get the hot look that will get you through the rest of the winter.

It's not secret that skirts are picking up in popularity and even seem to be taking precedence over dresses. And while skirts do take a little more effort when getting ready (you have to pick out a suitably matching top), they're so worth it. There are so many different types of skirts and all generally look amazing with a cute little jacket. But right now we're talking about tiered skirts, which I'm seriously hoping are more than just a passing trend.

You might remember a certain version of tiered skirts being popular a few years back. But those were more like ruffled skirts, and tiered skirts are a totally different breed. And a much better one at that. They're fabulous because you can dress them up or down and when dressed up, they can look mighty fashionable. I'm actually a big fan of tiered skirts with tights and heels, but you're sure to see lots of people dressing them down as the weather gets warmer sans tights and with flats. There are so many different styles of tiered skirts that you can stock your closet full of them and never get bored with them.
