Tiger Woods' Caddy Dodges Rumors Of Tiger's Return
Tiger Woods' camp is buying more time.
With the widely-reported announcement that Tiger Woods will make his return to golf within the next week, Tiger's caddy Steve Williams is trying to turn our attention away from the next course of events.
We reported late last week that Tiger is supposedly set to make his return to golf at the Accenture Match Play Championship on February 15 in Tucson, Arizona. This didn't make a ton of sense, as Accenture was one of the first Tiger Woods sponsors to cut their ties with Tiges, but insiders around the world were telling us to keep our eyes peeled.
Not necessary, says caddy Steve Williams. "The stories stating Tiger will return at the matchplay have no truth to them," Williams was quoted saying in Australia's Sydney Morning Herald. Williams, a 46-year-old New Zealand native who earns a reported $1.27 million a year caddying for Tiger, apparently has an interest in keeping his mouth shut on Tiger's business...but wonder how much longer he'll get paid if Tiger's not on the green?

Meanwhile, today is Tiger Woods' son Charlie Axel Woods' first birthday. Check out our story from Saturday on Tiger's high-security reunion with his family this past weekend after exiting sex addiction rehab (we included some adorable recent photos of Tiger's kids!).
