Tiger Woods Took Pain Pills Before Car Crash
Tiger Woods medical records released late this week.
We'd heard about Ambien and a cocktail of other drugs that Tiger Woods may have taken before his November 27 car crash that caused his mistress mystery. However a new report has just come out to reveal that Tiger may have taken mass amounts of pain medication before he got behind the wheel.
The L.A. Times reported Friday that "Tiger Woods' wife [Elin Nordegren] handed officers two bottles of pain medicine that she said he had taken earlier in the day, according to investigative records released Friday to the Orlando Sentinel."
Incredible. It's not clear exactly what kind of pain medicine was in Tiger's system, and hospital administration gave the Florida Highway Patrol trouble as the authorities tried to obtain information on November 30 regarding the substances in Tiger Woods' blood. Hospital admin wouldn't hand over the files without a warrant. It's been said that Tiger Woods was known to take Vicodin, a strong narcotic analgesic painkiller.
Finally the files were released and bit by bit, their contents are making their way into the news. What we know now is this, again according to the L.A. Times: "Woods was injured in a crash Nov. 27 when he tried to leave his Isleworth mansion about 2:30 a.m. but bounced off two curbs, ran through a row of shrubs, hit a fire hydrant and then crashed into a tree in his neighbor's yard."
As we reported late in the week, members of the public were in an uproar over the measly $164 ticket Tiger Woods received for reckless driving that night. Plus take a look at the results from our poll on what you think of Tiger Woods today -- men were harder on him than women were! Love it!
