To a trilogy... and beyond.

In theaters this week is a special double feature of two amazing films: Toy Story and Toy Story 2. The Pixar flicks have been remastered and look better than ever. They've been rereleased ahead of the upcoming Toy Story 3. We know we're pumped, and so is Tim Allen.

Allen, who voices the aspiring rocketman Buzz Lightyear, had nothing but praise for the first two films, and he claimed the next installment will be just as good.

"They've remastered [the first two films] in 3-D, and they look spectacular," he said. "We just want to remind you where we stand, so that 3 will make a lot of sense in June."

Details about the upcoming sequel are few and far between, but we do know that it involves young Andy growing up and heading off to college. There he must decide which toys to keep, and which to toss into the trash bag. Needless to say, this sends the familiar heroes -- Buzz, Woody, Mr. Potato-head, and friends -- on a mission to rescue their friends.

But that doesn't mean Toy Story 3 will be just a retread of the first two films.

"'3' really expands the emotion," Allen said. "You'll be startled with what they've come up with; really startling imagery, emotion and humor in '3.' It's just a wonderful experience."
