Tom Cruise Sued For Spying For $5 Million
Gay sex tape story resurfaces.
The last decade has seen Tom Cruise emerge as one of the most controversial stars in all of Hollywood. There was the below-the-belt Nicole Kidman split, the couch-jumping marriage to Katie Holmes, the Scientology spewing, the gay rumors...and now the latter of all these stories has resurfaced, and Tom Cruise has to pay up.
Back in 2001, magazine editor Michael David Sapir claimed to have footage of a gay sexcapade between Tom Cruise and another man. When Cruise got hold of the word, he threatened Sapir with a lawsuit and made him sign a document stating that no such tape existed.
It gets even juicier: it's said that Tom Cruise had a lawyer named Burt Fields and a private investigator Anthony Pellicano tap Sapir's phones. Sapir has brought a civil case against Cruise, Fields and Pellicano based on the allegation, and he wants $5 million of Tom Cruise's money.
Meanwhile attorney Burt Fields calls the suit "absolute garbage." The private investigator is currently in jail, according to TMZ. Stay with LimeLife for details on this Cruisin' for bruisin' story...
